Hair keratin fibers inevitably deteriorate under UV exposure, heat, and dryness. A robust composite coating assembles delaminated Ti3C2 MXene nanosheets onto keratin surfaces through biocompatible metal‐polyphenol networks of EGCG. This hybrid layer simultaneously screens UV, dissipates heat, reinforces mechanical strength, suppresses static charge ...

Heavy ion plasma confinement in an RF quadrupole trap [PDF]
The confinement of an electron free plasma in a pure quadrupole RF electric trap was considered. The ultimate goal was to produce a large density of mercury ions, in order to realize a trapped ion frequency standard using the hyperfine resonance of 199 ...

Hydrogel‐Based 3D‐Printable Stretchable Pressure Sensor
We present a carbon‐black‐functionalized double‐network granular hydrogel (DNGH) pressure sensor capable of detecting pressures from 200 Pa, equivalent to a light finger touch, up to 500 kPa. The sensor exhibits signal drifts below 3.5% after 800 cycles and response times around 80 ms. Leveraging this broad sensing range, we 3D print this material into
