A Variant of the Inverted Lanczos Method
In this note we study a variant of the inverted Lanczos method which computes eigenvalue approximates of a symmetric matrix A from the projection to a Krylov space of A method at least as long as reorthogonalization is not required. The method is applied to the problem of determining the smallest eigenvalue of a symmetric Toeplitz matrix.

Lanczos eigensolution method for high-performance computers [PDF]
The theory, computational analysis, and applications are presented of a Lanczos algorithm on high performance computers. The computationally intensive steps of the algorithm are identified as: the matrix factorization, the forward/backward equation ...

Nonlinear spectroscopy as a magnon breakdown diagnosis and its efficient simulation
Identifying quantum spin liquids, magnon breakdown, or fractionalized excitations in quantum magnets is an ongoing challenge due to the ambiguity in interpreting excitation continua occurring in linear-response probes.

Magnetic field independent shape of the zero-energy landau levels in a disordered T3 model
Using the Lanczos recursion method, we exactly determine the shape of the zero-energy Landau level (LL) in a disordered T _3 lattice under a strong magnetic field.

Dynamic Stability of an Elastic Rotating System: Shell-Disc-Shaft
This paper presents a methodology and some results on the dynamic stability of an elastic rotating system consisting of one- and twodimensional members. These parts may contain different kinds of unsymmetries: either from mass- or stiffness imperfections
