Spin‐Selective Interface Engineering in Oxide–Ferromagnetic Junctions via Atomic‐Scale Oxygen Control

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We show that interfacial oxygen at the MgO/Fe interface can be transformed from an uncontrolled variable into a tunable design parameter for spintronic junctions. Momentum microscopy provides direct access to the momentum‐ and spin‐resolved electronic structure beneath the insulating MgO layers, revealing how oxygen intercalation reshapes buried Fe ...

Surface Plasmon Enhanced Photoluminescence of Carbon Dots Formed In Situ on Silver Gratings

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Carbon emitters formed in situ on a silver grating via plasmonic catalysis yield enhanced spontaneous emission by preferential radiative decay into surface plasmons. Enhancement manifests as emission exhibiting characteristics of coherence (polarization, directionality), and accelerated lifetimes of ∼30 ps, yielding Purcell factors of ∼70.

A High‐Performance and Fully Recyclable Supramolecular Nanofibrous Membrane for Multifunctional Air Filtration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A green, thermoreversible self‐assembly strategy yields a multifunctional and recyclable supramolecular nanofibrous membrane. Graphene oxide (GO) nanosheet acts as a heterogeneous nucleation‐templating agent, simultaneously modulating the supramolecular crystal packing while tailoring the nanofibrous architecture for elite performance.

A Land Administration Data Exchange and Interoperability Framework for Kenya and Its Significance to the Sustainable Development Goals

open access: yesLand
Sharing land data from one department to the other is a continuous process. A solid structure and a set of guidelines on how to share them is to be put in place as a foundation for the development of a land administration data exchange and ...

In Situ Electrochemical Activation of Pseudo‐Layered NbS3 via Interlayer Expansion and Dual Redox for High Mg‐Ion Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A quasi‐1D pseudo‐layered NbS3 cathode for magnesium‐ion batteries can be created through electrochemically induced interlayer expansion. The widened ion‐transport channels enable fast magnesium ion diffusion and unlock coupled cationic‐anionic redox chemistry.

Microbial Odorant Detection Guides Drosophila Parasitoids Seeking Hosts in Fermenting Fruits

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Yeast microbes in fermenting fruits attract both host flies and their parasitoid wasps. Female Leptopilina boulardi detect yeast‐emitted ethyl esters via two olfactory receptors, LbouOR167 and LbouOR136. A conserved residue, Leu159, is critical for binding these compounds, enabling female wasps to locate host‐rich habitats.

From Earth Observation to Land Administration: Structuring Sentinel-1 Flood Information Within an ISO 19152 (LADM) Multipurpose Cadastre

open access: yesLand
Urban flood risk management in southern Chile is often constrained by fragmented territorial information, discontinuous hydrological records, and weak integration between hazard assessment and formal land-administration systems.
