An Empirical Study Investigating the Relationship between Land Prices and Urban Geometry
Land prices are among the most important parameters of urbanization and have been an important subject of urban geography studies for many years. The relationship between urban geography and land prices was examined in the first established models, which

Exploring the land market in the province of Noord-Holland using a spatial explanatory regression model [PDF]
This paper focuses on rural land prices. Different actors and factors influence land prices. Buurman (2003) has analysed, categorised, and used them to explain spatial differences in transaction prices of parcels using a GIS-based linear regression model.

An Aloe‐pinspired droplet electricity generator (A‐DEG) overcomes the limited energy collection zone of conventional DEGs by guiding impact droplets through a channeling midrib and artificial cuticle. The channeling midrib induces uni‐directional droplet spreading, while the artificial cuticle on the midrib further reinforces this behavior through its ...

Effect of IRC Code 1031 on Texas Agricultural Land Price [PDF]
In this paper, we examine the effect of Section 1031 tax deferred payment on Texas agricultural land price. To analyze the effects, we estimate the market equilibrium price function using the dynamic panel model and Texas agricultural land sales for 1965-

Photocatalytic Water Splitting on the Lunar Surface: Prospects for In Situ Resource Utilization
Water has been found in craters on the moon nearby locations which are illuminated >80% of the time. Photocatalysis uses energy from sunlight to drive chemical reactions such as water splitting to produce oxygen and hydrogen. It is a scalable technology that requires lighter equipment and utilizes resources available on the moon. ABSTRACT The discovery

USING SATELLITE IMAGERY IN PREDICTING KANSAS FARMLAND VALUES [PDF]
Can remotely sensed imagery improve hedonic land price models? A remotely sensed variable was added to a hedonic farmland value model as a proxy for land productivity. Land cover data were used to obtain urban and recreational effects as well.

In this study, we report a resistive‐type strain sensor fabricated using single‐walled CNTs, are used layer using the pray technique to deposit as conductive, and UV‐resin was spin‐coated as a protection layer. The sensor functioned in harsh temperature variation conditions from −50°C to 125°C without deterioration.
