Patterns of man — land relations
1978Southern Africa, consisting of approximately six million square kilometres, is a region of considerable size. It is roughly two-thirds the size of either the United States or Brazil, or nearly six times the area of France. Although southern Africa contains approximately 60 million people, it is not one of the more densely populated regions of the world.
