Suitability of Agricultural Land for Irrigation on the Territory of Istria County

The County of Istria, with an area of 2.813 km2, covers about 90 % of the Istrian peninsula. It contains 145.350 ha of agricultural land, which is 51,7 % of the county's area. Most of it, or 56,4 %, is unused or neglected agricultural land, and the remaining part, or 43,6 %, is used for various purposes.

(Fe4N/GaN)@GC: A Bifunctional Electrocatalyst for High‐Performance Rechargeable Zinc‐Air Batteries

This work demonstrates that an unprecedented Fe4N/GaN heterostructure, stabilized by a graphitized carbon shell, induces interfacial charge redistribution and optimizes oxygen‐intermediate adsorption, enabling highly efficient bifunctional ORR/OER electrocatalysis for rechargeable zinc‐air batteries.

Ion Superhighways in a Hierarchical Polymer‐Ceramic Membrane Enable Rapid and Selective Lithium Extraction

A flexible PDMS‐LATP polymer‐ceramic membrane creates lithium‐ion “superhighways” for rapid and selective extraction from complex brines. The amorphous PDMS matrix suppresses nonselective leakage and stabilizes the ceramic network, while LATP provides preferential Li+ conduction.
