From Lab to Landscape: Environmental Biohybrid Robotics for Ecological Futures

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This Perspective explores environmental biohybrid robotics, integrating living tissues, microorganisms, and insects for operation in real‐world ecosystems. It traces the leap from laboratory experiments to forests, wetlands, and urban environments and discusses key challenges, development pathways, and opportunities for ecological monitoring and ...

Sialic Acid Sensing via Molecularly Imprinted Polymer on Laser‐Induced Graphene

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.
Sialic acid is an important biomarker for oral and overall health. Salivary levels of sialic acid are linked with oral cancer and other diseases. We develop a point‐of‐care sensor for sialic acid, based on molecularly imprinted aminophenylboronic acid electropolymerized onto laser‐induced graphene.

A Long-Term Hydrologically-Based Data Set of Land Surface Fluxes and States for the Conterminous United States [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
A frequently encountered difficulty in assessing model-predicted land–atmosphere exchanges of moisture and energy is the absence of comprehensive observations to which model predictions can be compared at the spatial and temporal resolutions at which the

ROS Activated NETosis of Bone Marrow CD55+ Intermediate Mature Neutrophils Through HIF1α‐PADI4 Pathway to Initiate Bone Aging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, we find CD55+ neutrophils show activated NETosis within bone marrow, induce BMSC senescence and osteogenesis inhibition, finally leading to bone aging initiation. Mechanistically, ROS synergizes with the CD55‐driven HIF1α‐PADI4 pathway to promote NETosis.

Genome‐Wide by Lifetime Environment Interaction Studies of Brain Imaging Phenotypes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study explores genome‐wide by lifetime environment interactions on brain imaging phenotypes. Gene‐environment interactions explain more phenotypic variance than main effects, pinpoint regulatory variants, and reveal exposure‐specific biological pathways.

Examining the landscape transformation and temperature dynamics in Pakistan

open access: yesScientific Reports
This study aims to examine the landscape transformation and temperature dynamics using multiple spectral indices. The processes of temporal fluctuations in the land surface temperature is strongly related to the morphological features of the area in ...

The Impact of Urbanization-Induced Land Use Change on Land Surface Temperature

open access: yesRemote Sensing
Rapid urbanization can change local climate by increasing land surface temperature (LST), particularly in metropolitan regions. This study uses two decades of remote sensing data to investigate how urbanization-induced changes in land use/land cover ...

Air temperature estimation based on environmental parameters using remote sensing data [PDF]

open access: yesتحقیقات کاربردی علوم جغرافیایی, 2018
This study is aimed at estimating monthly mean air temperature (Ta) using the MODIS Land Surface Temperature (LST), Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), latitude, altitude, slope gradient and land use data during 2001-2015.
