MdDSK2a‐Like‐MdMTA Module Functions in Apple Cold Response via Regulating ROS Detoxification and Cell Wall Deposition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Under cold stress, MdDSK2a‐like is degraded via the 26S proteasome pathway, thereby alleviating the degradation of MdMTA induced by the 26S proteasome and autophagy pathways mediated by MdDSK2a‐like. The accumulated MdMTA increases the m6A levels of cold‐responsive genes, thereby contributing to increased ROS detoxification, deposition of cell wall, as

From Seeds to Cell: Improving PEMFC Performance and Durability by Seed‐Mediation Synthesis for PtNiIr ORR Nanocatalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The seed‐mediation synthesis approach offers increased activity and stability for the PtNiIr nanocatalysts. It is designed as an oxygen reduction reaction catalyst in proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFC), further enhanced by deposing the particles inside the porous carbon support material.

Impact of Virus‐Mediated Modifications in Bacterial Communities on the Accumulation of Soil Organic Carbon

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study illustrates the impact of viruses on carbon cycling in soils with different availabilities of carbon. In conditions of low carbon availability, viruses adopt a lysogenic lifestyle, integrate into the host genomes and facilitate the degradation of carbon.

Active Component Design of Amorphous SnPx/SnSx and Interfacial Bonding Engineering in N/P/S‐Doped Hard Carbon for High‐Rate Sodium‐Ion Hybrid Capacitors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The incorporation of Sn in the hard carbon doped with nonmetallic heteroatoms enhances the number of active sites and activates the sodium storage capacity of P and S, while the carbon‐based heterostructure improves electronic conductivity and stabilizes the structure during cycling.

Moisture Harvesting by the Structure Regulation of Hygroscopic Hydrogel for Energy and Water Sustainability

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Hygroscopic hydrogels are capable of utilizing the moisture from air, which can transfer the gaseous water to liquid by a surface phase transition. Taking advantage of this water, sustainable water production, thermal management, and electricity generation can be realized.
