Agent-Based Urban Land Markets: Agent\'s Pricing Behavior, Land Prices and Urban Land Use Change [PDF]

open access: yes
We present a new bilateral agent-based land market model, which moves beyond previous work by explicitly modeling behavioral drivers of land-market transactions on both the buyer and seller side; formation of bid prices (of buyers) and ask prices (of ...

Enhancing Li‐S Battery Performance Through Low‐Concentration Electrolytes with Organic Se/Te Co‐Additives to Address Solubility and Kinetic Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a low‐concentration electrolyte enabled by hybrid organic Se/Te additives (DPDSe/DPDTe) that restructures solvation, boosts polysulfide dissolution, and provides dual‐site synergistic catalysis, delivering high capacity and stable cycling in Li–S coin and pouch cells, supporting high‐energy, high‐power operation.

Land Use Change: A Spatial Multinomial Choice Analysis

open access: yes
Urban decentralization and dispersion trends have led to increased conversion of rural lands in many urban peripheries and exurban regions of the U.S. The growth of the exurban areas has outpaced growth in urban and suburban areas, resulting in growth ...

A Worm‐Inspired Origami Robot with Multimodal Locomotion for Adaptive Mobility in Complex Pipeline Environments

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An origami worm‐inspired robot achieves multimodal locomotion in confined pipelines through mechatronic integration that embeds actuation, control, and communication within each origami module. Large, reversible configuration and dimensional changes enable 25 gaits synthesized by a unified framework across peristaltic, inchworm, and wheel‐rolling modes

Towards Indicators for Assessing Land-Use Change in Planning: Case Study of the Peri-Urban Zone of Thessaloniki. [PDF]

open access: yes
Expanding urban areas face growing land use conflicts particularly in the peri-urban zone, which is defined as a zone outside the city, occupied both by ‘classical’ rural land uses, and construction of road infrastructure and commercial shopping centers,
