Comparative Life Cycle Assessment of Perovskite Solar Cell Production: Mesoporous n‐i‐p Versus Inverted p‐i‐n Architectures

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
This work assesses the environmental impacts associated with the production of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) with two different architectures, mesoporous n‐i‐p and inverted p‐i‐n, using the life cycle assessment methodology. Results indicate that producing mesoporous n‐i‐p PSCs has higher environmental impacts than producing inverted p‐i‐n PSCs, due to

Self‐Standing Fluorine‐Free Anode Microporous Layers Enabling Improved Hot and Dry Operation of Fully Hydrocarbon Proton‐Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
Fluorine‐free self‐standing anode microporous layers are fabricated and optimized for hydrocarbon catalyst‐coated membranes. The effects of carbon black, graphite, and acrylic binder in the microporous layer composition, on wetting behavior, permeability, electrical resistance, and electrochemical performance are investigated.
