Quantization effects for multi-component Ginzburg-Landau vortices
In this paper, we are concerned with n-component Ginzburg-Landau equations on R2 ${\mathbb{R}}^{2}$ . By introducing a diffusion constant for each component, we discuss that the n-component equations are different from n-copies of the single Ginzburg ...

With the emergence of the quantum computing era, the spin physics of engineered semiconductor materials with large and tuneable effective g*-factor, which is a measure of the interaction between the magnetic field and the spin of the particle, has become

We present a detailed numerical calculation of the upper critical field $H_{c2}(T)$ for a bulk extreme type-II superconductor. Particular emphasis is placed on the high-field, low-temperature regime of the HT-phase diagram. In this regime it is necessary

In this work, we present the first in‐depth investigation of elasto‐mechanical, thermophysical, and optical properties of these compounds. In particular, we analyzed the directional dependence of the elastic properties, explored the optical response for different photon polarization directions, and examined potential industrial applications of these ...

Axion production from Landau quantization in the strong magnetic field of magnetars
We utilize an exact quantum calculation to explore axion emission from electrons and protons in the presence of the strong magnetic field of magnetars. The axion is emitted via transitions between the Landau levels generated by the strong magnetic field.

This work presents a triaxially deformed photonic crystal cavity on the SOI substrate, enabling the localization and resonating of photons via pseudomagnetic fields. Through coupling with Si waveguides and leveraging the thermo‐optic effect, electrically tunable pseudo‐magnetism‐induced optical resonances can be achieved in the photonic integrated ...

Boundaries and supercurrent multiplets in 3D Landau-Ginzburg models
Theories with 3D N = 2 $$ \mathcal{N} = 2 $$ bulk supersymmetry may preserve a 2D N = 0 , 2 $$ \mathcal{N} = \left(0,\ 2\right) $$ subalgebra when a boundary is introduced, possibly with localized degrees of freedom.

Anomalous conductivity due to relativistic Landau quantization
We use a recently developed a kinetic model derived from the Dirac equation to study electromagnetic wave propagation in superstrong magnetic fields, such as in magnetars, where relativistic Landau quantization is prominent. The leading contribution to the conductivity tensor in such a plasma is calculated.
