The geometrical approach to phase-space quantization introduced by Klauder [KQ] is interpreted in terms of a universal magnetic field acting on a free particle moving in a higher dimensional configuration space; quantization corresponds to freezing the particle to its first Landau level.

Critical localization in two-dimensional Landau quantization

The localization in two-dimensional disordered electron systems in strong magnetic fields is investigated by the finite-size scaling method. The scaling function numerically obtained for macroscopically long systems shows that the single-parameter scaling is invalid.

A quantization property for static Ginzburg-Landau vortices

The authors consider critical points of the three dimensional complex Ginzburg-Landau functional for large coupling constant of order \(\varepsilon^{-1}\). It is shown that if the energy of this critical point on a ball of radius \(r\) is relatively small compared to \(r\log(r/\varepsilon)\), then the ball of half-radius contains no vortex.

Carrier–phonon scattering in Landau‐quantized graphene

We investigate the scattering efficiency of carriers with optical phonons in Landau‐quantized graphene within a microscopic theory. Strong carrier–phonon scattering is induced, if the transition energy between Landau levels is in resonance with the constant energy of the respective optical phonon mode.
