Two Notes on Land Use Statistics
This report contains two invited contributions to meetings held under the auspices of the Statistical Commission and Economic Commission for Europe, Conference of European Statisticians. The first paper, on land use and linkages, was prepared for the Meeting on Land Use Statistics held in Geneva, Switzerland, 17-20 March 1980, and the second paper, on ...

A Fully Self‐Powered Digital Wearable System for the Auxiliary Treatment of Plantar Fasciitis
This study reports a system‐level fully self‐powered digital wearable system (FS‐DWS) for the auxiliary treatment of plantar fasciitis. By integrating arch support, energy harvesting, wearable sensing, and machine learning‐driven closed‐loop visualized feedback, the system enables effective plantar pressure reduction and self‐powered, real‐time plantar

Optimal Grazing Exclusion Duration to Enhance Soil Carbon Sequestration in Degraded Grasslands
Across China, grazing exclusion reaches the national mean soil organic carbon recovery benchmark sooner in high‐MAP regions (> 500 mm), but recovery is much slower where MAP < 300 mm. Scaling this strategy to 70% of China's degraded grasslands would sequester about 1.52 Pg of soil carbon over 10 years—roughly 17% of annual global fossil‐fuel emissions.

GPX4 Inhibitor Resistance and Metastatic Features in Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer
This study establishes breast cancer cell lines that are resistant to glutathione peroxidase 4 inhibitors (GPX4i) in vitro and investigates the metastatic capacity of the GPX4i‐resistant versus parental lines in vivo. GPX4i‐resistant cells survive upon intravenous injection, but lose capacity to spontaneously metastasize.

Risk impact indicator analysis of runway excursion event
Research on the risk of runway excursion events is mostly based on accident statistics. Analysis is rarely conducted from flight data and flight operation characteristics. Therefore, based on the QAR(quick access recorder)data, the risk analysis for runway

Uganda and Malawi field pilots of proposed LSMS fisheries module: summary report [PDF]
While an overwhelming majority of sub-Saharan African countries exhibit serious weaknesses in statistics pertaining to crop and livestock sectors, the deficiencies in terms of nationally representative data on the fishery sector are even more acute.

A green, thermoreversible self‐assembly strategy yields a multifunctional and recyclable supramolecular nanofibrous membrane. Graphene oxide (GO) nanosheet acts as a heterogeneous nucleation‐templating agent, simultaneously modulating the supramolecular crystal packing while tailoring the nanofibrous architecture for elite performance.
