Using 25 years of capture data from Fort Campbell Military Installation, we evaluated whether white‐nose syndrome (WNS)‐driven declines in susceptible bats were followed by increases in non‐susceptible species (ecological release) versus shifts driven by land use change, at the installation and site specific spatial scales.

The Deadman River watershed (British Columbia, Canada) was severely impacted by the Sparks Lake Fire in 2021. Timelapse photogrammetry reveals sharp post‐fire channel widening and increase in migration rate. Through multispectral remote‐sensing analysis, these morphodynamic changes are related to burn severity affecting the watershed.

Evaluating novel attachment methods for tracking devices on terrestrial mammals
We deployed GNSS tracking devices on 2 endangered large terrestrial mammals, scimitar‐horned oryx and Przewalski's horses, using novel attachment methods. Tags achieved fix success rates and spatial accuracy that compare well with standard collars used on large mammals.
