Can we monitor seedling stands using Landsat Time Series?
Abstract Monitoring the status of seedling stands is crucial for determining whether seedlings have achieved the required density and height and assessing the need for weeding. We studied the potential of Landsat Time Series (LTS) data for monitoring young seedling stands in Liperi, eastern Finland.

We present a deep learning framework integrating remote sensing and SHAP interpretation to map 22‐year habitat dynamics of herbivorous waterbirds in Dongting Lake. Results show nearly 50% habitat loss, driven primarily by hydrological recession timing rather than static inundation extent.

Abstract This study investigates rainfall runoff behavior of five major torrential Nullahs' of Dera Ghazi Khan (D. G. Khan) for flash flood events. The integration, and fusion of satellite‐based meteorological, topographical, and pedo‐transferred function's (PTF) derived soil hydraulic datasets at 250 m grid size substantially proves a viable approach ...

Abstract Estimating suspended sediment concentration (SSC) in river channels is essential for understanding hydro‐sedimentological processes, managing water quality, and conserving aquatic ecosystems. This study evaluated different empirical equations to estimate SSC in the lower Madeira River and analyzed its hydro‐sedimentary dynamics based on MODIS ...
