The Analysis Errors of Surface Water Temperature Using Landsat TM

위성자료를 이용한 표층수온 분포에 관한 연구는 AVHRR을 이용하여 해양이나 내륙의 거대 호수에 적용되어 왔다. 하지만, AVHRR은 공간적인 해상력이 낮아(1.1 Km) 연안해역이나 시화호에 AVHRR을 적용하여 표층수온을 분석하기는 어렵다. 반면에 Landsat TM은 6번 밴드(10.4-12.5 ㎛)를 이용하여 표층수온을 추출할 수 있으며, 120m의 공간해상력을 가지고 있어서 시화호와 인근 해역의 표층수온 분포를 분석하는 것이 가능하다.
