Pattern change and ecological risk analysis of Shilin World Geopark landscape
This study considered Shilin World Geopark as the research object and constructed a landscape ecological risk assessment model based on the landscape pattern index by using remote sensing image data during five periods between 2000 and 2020. In addition,

α‐Synuclein aggregation landscape from phase separation to neurotoxic intermediates
Alpha‐synuclein aggregation in Parkinson's disease involves a complex landscape of transient intermediates, including oligomers, fibrils and liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS). A view is emerging in which LLPS maturation into solid‐like condensates may contribute to the formation of neurotoxic species.

Landscape pattern evolution of the north of Hangzhou bay coastal area in Shanghai
Since the 1980s in Shanghai, fast economic development, rapid urbanization, population explosion, all of these phenomena are driving radical changes in landscape pattern of coastal area. The landscape pattern evolution at the coastal regions of the north of ...

Analysis of the effect of landscape component classification on landscape diversity index
Abstract The landscape diversity index (LDI) is an important level in biodiversity conservation, and its scale dependence has an important role in regional landscape planning and biological conservation. The aim of this study is to analyze in depth the effects of spatial scale changes in the classification of different landscape ...

Constraints on the spectral index for the inflation models in the string landscape [PDF]
We conjecture that the inflation models with trans-Planckian excursions in the field space should be in the swampland. We check this conjecture in a few examples and investigate the constraints on the spectral index for the slow-roll inflation model in string landscape where the variation of inflaton during the period of inflation is less than the ...

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...

Cancer progression is regulated by the dynamic matrix code of the tumor microenvironment, which influences cellular behavior and disease development. Importantly, matrix remodeling in three‐dimensional cancer models more accurately reflects in vivo conditions compared to conventional two‐dimensional systems.
