Landslide Inventory: Challenge for Landslide Hazard Assessment in Indonesia

2017
Landslide occurs almost every year in Indonesia which causes tremendous damages to life and properties. Landslide hazard map would allow the identification of hazard regions for the implementation of mitigation which can minimize the loss of human life and property from future landslide occurrences.

Comparing landslide proximity to roads in national and event landslide inventories

2021
<p>Road influence on landslides is an often-used variable in landslide susceptibility models. However, in many studies, there is limited detail explaining the processes and interactions between roads and landslides; instead a constant road buffer or standard function is used.

Landslide inventories: The essential part of seismic landslide hazard analyses

Engineering Geology, 2011
Abstract A detailed and accurate landslide inventory is an essential part of seismic landslide hazard analysis. An ideal inventory would cover the entire area affected by an earthquake and include all of the landslides that are possible to detect down to sizes of 1–5 m in length.

Development of a Statewide Landslide Inventory Program

2003
Development of a comprehensive geotechnical database for risk management of highway landslide problems is described. Computer software selected to program the client/server application in a data window, components and structure of the geotechnical database, and some of the primary factors considered in constructing the database are discussed.

Developments in Landslides Inventory and Registry in Slovakia

2013
Slope deformations represent the most dangerous exogenous geodynamic phenomenon in the Slovak Western Carpathians. Over about five decades of systematic inventory of slope deformations almost 22,000 slope deformations covering an area of 2,575,912km2 were registered; they pose either damage or threat for 5.25% of the area of the Slovak Republic. In the

Kentucky Geological Survey Landslide Inventory

2014
The Kentucky Geological Survey is compiling a landslide inventory database to better document the distribution and geologic context of Kentucky’s landslides. The database provides users with easy access to landslide information, raises awareness of landslide causes, and will help prevent property damage or injury.
