Dynamics of Langevin Simulations [PDF]
This chapter [of a supplement to Prog. Theo. Phys.] reviews numerical simulations of quantum field theories based on stochastic quantization and the Langevin equation. The topics discussed include renormalization of finite step-size algorithms, Fourier acceleration, and the relation of the Langevin equation to hybrid stochastic algorithms and hybrid ...

Hypocoercivity Properties of Adaptive Langevin Dynamics [PDF]
Adaptive Langevin dynamics is a method for sampling the Boltzmann-Gibbs distribution at prescribed temperature in cases where the potential gradient is subject to stochastic perturbation of unknown magnitude. The method replaces the friction in underdamped Langevin dynamics with a dynamical variable, updated according to a negative feedback loop ...

Dynamics of the Schrödinger–Langevin equation [PDF]
Abstract We consider the nonlinear Schrödinger–Langevin equation for both signs of the logarithmic nonlinearity. We explicitly compute the dynamics of Gaussian solutions for large times, which is obtained through the study of a particular nonlinear differential equation of order 2.

Adeno‐associated virus serotype 2 capsid variants for improved liver‐directed gene therapy
Abstract Background and Aims Current liver‐directed gene therapies look for adeno‐associated virus (AAV) vectors with improved efficacy. With this background, capsid engineering is explored. Whereas shuffled capsid library screenings have resulted in potent liver targeting variants with one first vector in human clinical trials, modifying natural ...

Accelerated Diffusion-Based Sampling by the Non-Reversible Dynamics with Skew-Symmetric Matrices
Langevin dynamics (LD) has been extensively studied theoretically and practically as a basic sampling technique. Recently, the incorporation of non-reversible dynamics into LD is attracting attention because it accelerates the mixing speed of LD. Popular

Nonextensive Itô-Langevin Dynamics
We study generalizations of Itô-Langevin dynamics consistent within nonextensive thermostatistics. The corresponding stochastic differential equations are shown to be connected with a wide class of nonlinear Fokker-Planck equations describing correlated anomalous diffusion in fractals.
