Unraveling Energy Flow Mechanisms in Semiconductors by Ultrafast Spectroscopy: Germanium as a Case Study

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multi‐technique pump‐probe setup capable of performing both transient reflectivity and time‐resolved Raman spectroscopy after ultrafast excitation, provides a comprehensive understanding of ultrafast electronic and phononic processes. Distinct decay rates for the temperature, frequency, and linewidth of the phonon mode in germanium are observed ...

Existence theory on the Caputo-type fractional differential Langevin hybrid inclusion with variable coefficient

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
This paper investigates a hybrid Langevin inclusion involving the generalized Caputo fractional derivative with a variable coefficient. The proposed Langevin inclusion is based on the ρ-Caputo fractional derivative, which extends the well-known ...

Langevin equation with scale-dependent noise

open access: yes, 2003
A new wavelet based technique for the perturbative solution of the Langevin equation is proposed. It is shown that for the random force acting in a limited band of scales the proposed method directly leads to a finite result with no renormalization ...

DNA Nanoflower LYTACs Enable Efficient VEGF Degradation and Verteporfin Loading for Combined Therapy of Wet Age‐Related Macular Degeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An integrated approach that combines a DNA nanoflower VEGF degrader with photodynamic therapy is developed for the treatment of wet age‐related macular degeneration, which reduces the risk of VEGF reactivation‐induced CNV recurrence and minimizes the systemic side effects associated with photodynamic therapy.

Lefschetz thimble-inspired weight regularizations for complex Langevin simulations

open access: yesSciPost Physics
Complex Langevin (CL) is a computational method to circumvent the numerical sign problem with applications in finite-density quantum chromodynamics and the real-time dynamics of quantum field theories.

Inside the Microreactor: In Situ Real‐Time Observation of Vapor–Liquid–Solid Growth of Monolayer TMDCs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In situ observation of VLS growth in a confined microreactor reveals various growth modes of monolayer TMDCs, including abnormal ribbon growth and particle‐driven growth. The confined space and precursor balance influence droplet behavior and growth dynamics, offering new insights into the controlled synthesis of TMDCs via the VLS mechanism.

Diffusion limit of the simplified Langevin PDF model in weakly inhomogeneous turbulence

open access: yesESAIM: Proceedings and Surveys, 2015
In this work, we discuss the modelling of transport in Langevin probability density function (PDF) models used to predict turbulent flows [1]. Our focus is on the diffusion limit of these models, i.e.

Parametric Study of Bolt Clamping Effect on Resonance Characteristics of Langevin Transducers with Lumped Circuit Models

open access: yesSensors, 2020
We recently proposed a numerical model using equivalent circuit models to analyze the resonance characteristics of Langevin transducers and design them in a systematic manner. However, no pre-load torque biased by a metal bolt was considered in the model.

Thermodynamically consistent Langevin dynamics with spatially correlated noise predicts frictionless regime and transient attraction effect

open access: yes, 2016
While the origin of temporal correlations in Langevin dynamics have been thoroughly researched, the understanding of Spatially Correlated Noise (SCN) is rather incomplete.
