The Earth’s magnetosphere responds to the external changes of interplanetary magnetic field and solar wind conditions showing a multiscale dynamics, manifesting in the occurrence of fluctuations over a very wide range of timescales.

Asymmetry of the Ferroelectric Phase Transition in BaTiO3
Phase transitions are typically assumed to behave identically in forward and reverse. This work shows that in the ferroelectric material barium titanate this is not true: heating drives an abrupt, first‐order jump, while cooling gives a smooth, continuous change.

We explore the mathematical relationship between the holographic Wilsonian renormalization group (HWRG) and stochastic quantization(SQ) motivated by the similarity of the monotonicity in RG flow with Langevin dynamics of non-equilibrium thermodynamics ...

We employ the Langevin equation and Wigner function to describe the bottom quark dynamical evolutions and their formation into a bound state in the expanding Quark Gluon Plasma (QGP).

Brownian motion of Massive Particle in a Space with Curvature and Torsion and Crystals with Defects
We develop a theory of Brownian motion of a massive particle, including the effects of inertia (Kramers' problem), in spaces with curvature and torsion.

Short-time behavior of the correlation functions for the quantum Langevin equation
We analyze the quantum Langevin equation obtained for the Ford-Kac-Mazur and related models. We study an explicit expression for the correlation function of the noise, obtained by making use of the normal-ordered product of operators. Such an expression is divergence-free, does not require any frequency cutoff, and yields the classical (Markoffian ...

Role of the Recombination Zone in Organic Light‐Emitting Devices
This review summarizes the critical role of the recombination zone in organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs). We highlight that broadening the recombination zone in OLEDs based on emissive layers with balanced charge transport and high photoluminescence quantum yields provides a promising route toward achieving both long operational lifetime and high ...

New classical brackets for dissipative systems
A set of brackets for classical dissipative systems, subject to external random forces, are derived. The method is inspired to the old procedure found by Peierls, for deriving the canonical brackets of conservative systems, starting from an action ...
