Simultaneous Photoactivation of Copper and Ti‐Doped CeO2−x Enables Optimal Acceleration of the RWGS Reaction

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
A combination of visible light and thermal energy accelerates the CO formation rate up to 57 times compared to dark conditions using a 3Cu/CeTiO2−x catalyst. Kinetic analysis, as well as steady state and transient spectroscopy, was applied under photocatalytic conditions to analyze and disentangle the reaction channels under dark and illuminated ...

Polydopamine‐Mediated Grafting of Cationic Polymer Brushes for Adsorption of Fluorinated Compounds

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
We introduce a versatile approach to fabricate tunable charged interfaces by functionalizing stonewool fibers with a polydopamine (PDA)–quaternary amine coating via a grafting‐to method. The modified surfaces exhibit rapid, concentration‐dependent adsorption of anionic species driven by electrostatic interactions.
