Langmuir Adsorption Kinetics in Liquid Media: Interface Reaction Model [PDF]
Adsorption kinetic equation has been derived assuming that the process follows the behavior of a heterogeneous chemical reaction at the solid-liquid interface. This equation is converted into the Langmuir isotherm at equilibrium and describes well the unsteady-state adsorption process.

Determination of the absolute CH4 adsorption using simplified local density theory and comparison with the modified Langmuir adsorption model. [PDF]
Accurately determining the adsorbed amount of CH4 on shale is significant for understanding the mechanisms of shale gas storage and shale methane recovery from shale gas reservoirs.

Revised Disrupted Langmuir–Adsorption Model of Photocatalysis [PDF]
The increasingly popular disrupted Langmuir–adsorption (DLA) kinetic model of photocatalysis does not contain an explicit function for the dependence of rate on the irradiance, ρ, but instead has a term αρθ, where, α is a constant of the system, and θ is also a constant equal to 1 or 0.5 at low or high ρ values, respectively.

Modelling focused electron beam induced deposition beyond Langmuir adsorption [PDF]
In this work, the continuum model for focused electron beam induced deposition (FEBID) is generalized to account for multilayer adsorption processes. Two types of adsorption energies, describing both physisorption and spontaneous chemisorption, are included.

Adsorption and removal of direct red 31 by Cu-MOF: optimization by response surface
Cu(PABA) is a Cu-based MOF material assembled from Cu2+ and the organic ligand p-aminobenzoic acid (PABA). Cu (PABA) was synthesized by a solvothermal method, characterized and applied to the adsorption of direct red 31 dye (DR-31). The effects of pH, DR-

A Prediction Model for Methane Adsorption Capacity in Shale Gas Reservoirs
Estimation of methane adsorption capacity is crucial for the characterization of shale gas reservoirs. The methane adsorption capacity in shales is measured using high-pressure methane adsorption to obtain the adsorption isotherms, which can be fitted by

Competitive adsorption of p-hydroxybenzoic acid and phenol on activated carbon : experimental study and modelling. [PDF]
The competitive adsorption of phenol and p-hydroxybenzoic acid (4HBA) has been investigated on activated carbon (AC) for a wide range of concentrations under unbuffered conditions. The results show a preferential adsorption of 4HBA which can be explained
