Isotherm behaviour of p3OT, P3HT and PCBM Langmuir layer on ionic subphase
Isotherms are generally curves that depict the phenomena that govern a substance’s mobility at a constant temperature and pH. In this study, the Langmuir layer of P3OT, P3HT and PCBM were characterised by computing their surface pressure as a function of

The langmuir isotherm adsorption equation: The monolayer approach
Langmuir adsorption isotherm equation is generally derived using the kinetics approach and based on some assumptions. These assumptions are usually not accompanied by an adequate explanation related with the mechanisms and the determination techniques of its adsorption constants.

Adsorption Process Optimization and Adsorbent Evaluation Based on Langmuir Isotherm Model
Adsorption separation is considered one of the most commonly used gas purification methods. At present, the most widely used adsorption methods are mainly pressure swing adsorption (PSA) and temperature swing adsorption (TSA). In both adsorption methods,

Impact of Langmuir isotherm on production behavior of CBM reservoirs
Coalbed Methane is an unconventional gas resource that consists of methane production from the coal seams. CBM reservoir performance is also influenced by the interrelationship of reservoir, geologic, and operation parameters.

Relationship between Commonly Used Adsorption Isotherm Equations Impedes Isotherm Selection
If the measured isotherm data of an adsorption system are well described by the Freundlich equation, then they can similarly well be described by the bi-Langmuir or tri-Langmuir model in most practical cases.

ABSTRACT Four benzothiophenes, thianaphthene (BT‐1), 3‐bromothianaphthene (BT‐2), benzo[b]thiophene‐2‐carboxaldehyde (BT‐3), and benzo[b]thiophene‐2‐carbonitrile (BT‐4), were tested as mild steel corrosion inhibitors in 1‐M HCl. The compounds have the similar benzothiophene core but differ in the substituents bound to the ring.
