MXene–MOF Hybrid Nanocomposites: Emerging Platforms for Sustainable Wastewater Treatment
This review presents MXene–MOF hybrid materials for advanced water purification. By integrating the high conductivity and hydrophilicity of MXenes with the tunable porosity of MOFs, these hybrids demonstrate superior performance in adsorption, photocatalysis, and electrochemical degradation.

Chlorogenic acid (CGA) inhibits Helicobacter pylori urease (HPU) through a mixed‐type mechanism. The CGA–HPU interaction is thermodynamically spontaneous and enthalpy‐driven (ΔG < 0, ΔH < 0), proceeding via a static quenching mode. Molecular dynamics simulations and structural studies reveal that CGA binds near the HPU active site and mobile flap ...

Utilization of Thermally Modified Water Treatment Plant Sludge as an Adsorbent for Fluoride Removal
ABSTRACT The presence of fluoride (F−) at high concentrations in drinking water is a global concern due to its adverse health effects. This study evaluated the removal of F− ions by adsorption using an adsorbent produced from thermally modified water treatment plant sludge (TWTPS), providing an efficient and low‐cost alternative for contaminated water ...
