In this article, we describe a new fungal species, Leucocoprinus roseus, collected in Canal View Park, District Mandi Bahauddin, Punjab, Pakistan. The species is proposed as new based on detailed morphological observations and molecular phylogenetic analysis using nuclear ribosomal DNA internal transcribed spacer (nrITS) sequences.

Diverse soil seedbanks are resilient to reintroducing low‐intensity fire in a subtropical grassy woodland

Patterns of species replacement suggest that activities which diminish above‐ground plant diversity (such as overgrazing or conversion to forest) will impact biodiversity at larger spatial scales, while soil seedbanks are likely more robust
