Glucomannan Accumulation Induced by Exogenous Lanthanum in Amorphophallus konjac: Insights from a Comparative Transcriptome Analysis

open access: yesBiology
Konjac glucomannan (KGM), derived from Amorphophallus konjac, is increasingly utilized in food and pharmaceutical applications. However, inconsistent KGM production across cultivars jeopardizes its quality and market viability.

The impact of the implemented lanthanum on the chemical composition of barley crops in conditions of vegetation experiment

open access: yesБюллетень Почвенного института им. В.В. Докучаева, 2017
In conditions of the vegetation experiment with barley under the artificial illumination, we assessed the ability of lanthanum, which is one of the most widely spread lanthanons, to accumulate in leaves and stems of plants.

Distinct Ligand‐ and Metal‐Centered Phosphorescence in a Terbium Carbazolyl Complex

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Terbium and lanthanum carbazolide complexes show two distinct modes of luminescence: Strongly temperature‐dependent narrow‐line terbium emission could be induced. In addition, both the terbium and the lanthanum complexes show broad‐line interligand emission processes with excited states of microsecond life‐time.

Dopants adsorbed as single atoms prevent degradation of catalysts

open access: yes, 2004
The design of catalysts with desired chemical and thermal properties is viewed as a grand challenge for scientists and engineers. For operation at high temperatures, stability against structural transformations is a key requirement.

Photocatalytic Degradation of PFOA with Porous Lanthanoid Perovskites Nano Catalyst

open access: yesChemie Ingenieur Technik, EarlyView.
Photocatalytic degradation of PFOA was studied using nickel‐ and lanthanide‐doped perovskites under UV–VIS irradiation. Catalyst characterization confirmed successful doping, with Ni/NdMnO3 showing the highest photocatalytic efficiency. Degradation occurred via C–C bond cleavage, forming transformation products PFHpA and PFHxA.
