Scattering by one-dimensional rough surfaces
We consider the two-dimensional Dirichlet boundary value problem for the Helmholtz equation in a non-locally perturbed half-plane. We look for a solution in the form of a double-layer potential using, as fundamental solution, the Green's function for the

New Drain Spacing Formulas Using the Variational Iteration Method
ABSTRACT In this study, the drain spacing is computed using the variational iteration method (VIM) to the linearized Boussinesq equation. By applying at most two iterations of the VIM method under three different initial condition scenarios, three equations for drain spacing calculation were derived. These equations predict values of drain spacing that

Intent Arabic text categorisation based on different machine learning and term frequency
Abstract The complexity of Internet network configurations has made managing networks a complicated undertaking. Intent‐Based Networking (IBN) is a potential solution to this issue. In contrast to conventional networks, where a concrete description of the settings typically conveys a network administrator's goal kept on each device, an administrator's ...

A game interpretation for the weighted $p$-Laplace equation
In this paper, we obtain a stochastic approximation that converges to the viscosity solution of the weighted $p$-Laplace equation. We consider a stochastic two-player zero-sum game controlled by a random walk, two player\u27s choices, and the gradient of

Uniqueness for Neumann Problems for Nonlinear Elliptic Equations With Lower Order Terms
ABSTRACT In this paper, we prove uniqueness results for weak solutions to a class of Neumann problems, whose prototype is λ(1+u2)(p−2)/2u−div((1+|∇u|2)(p−2)/2∇u)−div(c(x)(1+|u|2)(τ+1)/2)+b(x)(1+|∇u|2)(σ+1)/2=finΩ(1+|∇u|2)(p−2)/2∇u+c(x)(1+|u|2)(τ+1)/2)·n̲=0on∂Ω,$$\begin{equation*} {\begin{cases} {}\lambda {(1+ u^2)}^{(p-2)/2}u-{\operatorname{div}}({(1+|\

Path Planning Using Laplace's Equation
A method for planning smooth robot paths is presented. The method relies on the use of Laplace's Equation to constrain the generation of a potential function over regions of the configuration space of an effector.

The goal of this work is to look at how a nonlinear model describes hematopoiesis and its complexities utilizing commonly used techniques with historical and material links. Based on time delay, the Mackey–Glass model is explored in two instances. To offer a range, the relevance of the parameter impacting stability (bifurcation) is recorded.
