Theoretical investigation on the impact of an oscillating time-dependent pressure gradient on Dean flow in a porous annulus

open access: yesPropulsion and Power Research, 2021
In this article, a theoretical analysis on flow in a curvilinear horizontal coaxial cylinder with permeable walls has been proposed. Specifically, the transient impact of an oscillating pressure gradient has been taken into account.

COFs on MOFs: Layer‐by‐Layer Synthesis of MOF@COF Nanoparticles with Synergistic Adsorption

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A layer‐by‐layer strategy enables the growth of crystalline covalent organic framework (COF) shells on metal–organic framework nanoparticles, creating core–shell structures with tunable porosity. Ordered interstitial mesopores are formed during shell growth, which are connected with the COF's intrinsic micropores, thereby enhancing water sorption. This

Analytical solutions for time-fractional diffusion equation with heat absorption in spherical domains

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal, 2023
Under the time-variable Dirichlet condition, the time-fractional diffusion equation with heat absorption in a sphere is taken into consideration. The time-fractional derivative with the power-law kernel is used in the generalized Cattaneo constitutive ...

Laplace‐Pressure‐Stabilized Rutile Solid‐Solution Catalysts for Acidic Water Oxidation: Enabling DSA‐Inspired Compositions

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The miscibility of foreign elements in rutile‐type IrO2 and SnO2 is greatly enhanced under high Laplace pressure, where their crystal size is reduced to the nanoscale. This enhancement leads to the successful synthesis of DSA‐composition solid‐solution nanocatalysts with notable durability during the acidic OER in water electrolysis.
