Intertwining Laplace Transformations of Linear Partial Differential Equations [PDF]
We propose a generalization of Laplace transformations to the case of linear partial differential operators (LPDOs) of arbitrary order in R^n. Practically all previously proposed differential transformations of LPDOs are particular cases of this transformation (intertwining Laplace transformation, ILT).

Output feedback robust stabilization of distributed‐order systems
Abstract This paper addresses the challenge of robust fast stabilization for a class of dynamical systems characterized by slow and ultra‐slow dynamics. The system model is approximated using a distributed‐order derivative of the measured output, which captures the influence of the control input, system dynamics, and external disturbances.

The Exit Time and the Dividend Value Function for One-Dimensional Diffusion Processes
We investigate the exit times from an interval for a general one-dimensional time-homogeneous diffusion process and their applications to the dividend problem in risk theory. Specifically, we first use Dynkin’s formula to derive the ordinary differential

Regional Shopping Objectives in British Grocery Retail Transactions Using Segmented Topic Models
ABSTRACT Understanding the customer behaviours behind transactional data has high commercial value in the grocery retail industry. Customers generate millions of transactions every day, choosing and buying products to satisfy specific shopping needs.

Parameter and q asymptotics of Lq‐norms of hypergeometric orthogonal polynomials
The weighted Lq‐norms of orthogonal polynomials are determined when q and the polynomial's parameter tend to infinity. They are given in this work by the leading term of the q and parameter asymptotics of the corresponding quantities of the associated probability density. These results are not only interesting per se, but also because they control many

Fractional partial differential equations and novel double integral transform
We propose in this study a combined expression mainly based on the double transformation of Laplace and Sumudu (DLST), by developing some results associated with this proposed transformation.

Is (Independent) Subordination Relevant in Equity Derivatives?
ABSTRACT Monroe (1978) demonstrates that any local semimartingale can be represented as a time‐changed Brownian Motion (BM). A natural question arises: does this representation theorem hold when the BM and the time‐change are independent? We prove that a local semimartingale is not equivalent to a BM with a time‐change that is independent from the BM ...
