Theorems on n-dimensional Laplace transforms and their applications
In the present paper we prove certain theorems involving the classical Laplace transform of $n$-variables. The theorems are then shown to yield a nice algorithm for evaluating $n$-dimensional Laplace transform pairs.

Abstract This study presents a non‐iterative tuning technique for a linear fractional‐order (FO) controller, based on the integral of the time‐weighted absolute error (ITAE) criterion. Minimizing the ITAE is a traditional approach for tuning FO controllers. This technique reduces the over/undershoot and suppresses the steady‐state error. In contrast to

Regional Shopping Objectives in British Grocery Retail Transactions Using Segmented Topic Models
ABSTRACT Understanding the customer behaviours behind transactional data has high commercial value in the grocery retail industry. Customers generate millions of transactions every day, choosing and buying products to satisfy specific shopping needs.

A cellular automaton model is introduced for simulating electrolyte wetting in porous battery composites. The model offers high flexibility, near real‐time runtimes, and strong agreement with experimental data. Validated on individual and multilayer configurations, the model enables fast, accurate wetting prediction for pouch, and cylindrical cell ...

Advancing design strategies in smart stimulus‐responsive liposomes for drug release and nanomedicine
Schematic illustration of stimulus‐responsive liposomes designed for controlled drug release and nanomedicine. The innermost circle represents different liposomal structures, including unilamellar, multilamellar, and multivesicular liposomes. The middle layer illustrates the responsive phospholipid components.

Random discrete probability measures based on a negative binomial process
Abstract A distinctive functional of the Poisson point process is the negative binomial process for which the increments are not independent but are independent conditional on an underlying gamma variable. Using a new point process representation for the negative binomial process, we generalize the Poisson–Kingman distribution and its corresponding ...
