A Matrix Exponential Generalization of the Laplace Transform of Poisson Shot Noise [PDF]
We consider a generalization of the Laplace transform of Poisson shot noise defined as an integral transform with respect to a matrix exponential. We denote this as the matrix Laplace transform and establish that it is in general a matrix function extension of the scalar Laplace transform. We show that the matrix Laplace transform of Poisson shot noise

A High‐Order Hybrid‐Spectral Incompressible Navier–Stokes Model for Non‐Linear Water Waves
We present a high‐order accurate CFD model for simulating nonlinear water waves using the incompressible Navier–Stokes equations. The model employs a combined Chebyshev–Fourier basis for efficient spatial discretization, and a low‐storage fourth‐order Runge–Kutta method for temporal integration. A Poisson pressure problem is solved using a geometric p$$

Segmented transmission delay based decoupling for parallel simulation of a distribution network
Abstract The introduction of inverters and power electronic devices increases the amount of calculation needed for electromagnetic transient simulation in distribution networks with a high proportion of distributed generation. Hence, the parallel calculation of electromagnetic transient simulation has become an effective way to improve its efficiency ...

There are thirty one-parameter Laplace-type integral transforms, however, two-parameter Laplace-type integral transforms are few. Hence, the objective in the paper is to introduce and apply a new two-parameter Laplace-type integral transform, called the

Abstract Ocean alkalinity enhancement (OAE) is a widely considered marine CO2 removal method. Ocean alkalinity enhancement works by converting seawater CO2 into HCO3−$$ {\mathrm{HCO}}_3^{-} $$ and CO32−$$ {\mathrm{CO}}_3^{2-} $$ by electrochemical methods or the addition of alkaline minerals.

Efficient modelling of natural gas pipeline on electromagnetic transient simulation programs
Abstract Electromagnetic transient programs (EMTPs) are widely used for simulating electromagnetic transient in power systems. With the increasing interest in integrated energy system (IES), it would be beneficial to extend the scope of EMTP‐type application to multi‐physics transients in integrated electrical and gas networks.

Regularity and separation for Grušin‐type p‐Laplace operators
Abstract We analyze p‐Laplace type operators with degenerate elliptic coefficients. This investigation includes Grušin‐type p‐Laplace operators. We describe a separation phenomenon in elliptic and parabolic p‐Laplace type equations, which provide an illuminating illustration of simple jump discontinuities of the corresponding weak solutions ...
