Investigation of the Molecular Level Interaction in [CH3OH−CH2X2] Complexes (X=I, Br, and Cl) using Matrix‐Isolation IR Spectroscopy

open access: yesChemistry – An Asian Journal, Volume 20, Issue 6, March 17, 2025.
In CH2X2 (X=Cl, Br, and I) molecules, the magnitude of σ‐hole on the X atom decreases from CH2I2 to CH2Cl2 . Three different types of interactions i. e., C−X⋅⋅⋅O halogen bond, and C−H⋅⋅⋅O and O−H⋅⋅⋅X hydrogen bond, are possible in [CH3OH−CH2X2] complexes.

On the resonances of the Laplacian on waveguides

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2002
The resonances for the Dirichlet and Neumann Laplacian are studied on compactly perturbed waveguides. An upper bound on the number of resonances near the physical plane is proven. In the absence of resonances, an upper bound is proven for the localised resolvent.

Are Noncovalent C─H⋯ Au Bonds Comparable to C─H⋯ π Bonds? A Theoretical Perspective

open access: yesChemistry – An Asian Journal, EarlyView.
In this study, the geometry and stability features as well as the physical nature of C─H···Au and C─H···π noncovalent complexes have been analyzed and compared at the PBE0‐D3/def2‐TZVP level of theory involving a series of alkanes and i) graphene and ii) an Au layer. Abstract Herein, we have theoretically studied and compared the physical nature of C─H·

Linear Matrix Inequality‐based design of distributed proportional‐integral‐derivative for the output consensus tracking in heterogeneous high‐order multi‐agent systems

open access: yesAsian Journal of Control, EarlyView.
Abstract This article addresses the cooperative output consensus tracking problem for high‐order heterogeneous multi‐agent systems via a distributed proportional‐integral‐derivative (PID)‐like control strategy and proposes two novel control methodologies for the tuning of the control gains, which do not require any assumption and/or limitation on agent

On the Eigenvalues and Energy of the Seidel and Seidel Laplacian Matrices of Graphs

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society
Let SΓ be a Seidel matrix of a graph Γ of order n and let DΓ=diagn−1−2d1,n−1−2d2,…,n−1−2dn be a diagonal matrix with di denoting the degree of a vertex vi in Γ. The Seidel Laplacian matrix of Γ is defined as SLΓ=DΓ−SΓ.

Laplacian‎ ‎Coefficients of a‎ ‎Forest in Terms of the Number of Closed Walks in the Forest and its Line Graph [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics Interdisciplinary Research
‎In this paper‎, ‎we deal with calculating the laplacian coefficients of a finite simple graph $G$ with the Laplacian polynomial $\psi(G,\lambda) = \sum_{k=0}^{n}(-1)^{n-k}c_k\lambda^k$‎.

Adaptive event‐based asynchronous approach for containment control of Markov jump multi‐agent systems with hidden Markov models

open access: yesAsian Journal of Control, EarlyView.
Abstract This paper focuses on the issue of adaptive event‐triggered containment control for Markov jump multi‐agent systems characterized by hidden Markov jump parameters. The central objective is to design an output‐feedback controller for the Markov jump multi‐agent system by using an adaptive event‐triggered technique that not only ensures the ...
