Abstract Extratropical and Arctic cyclones regulate mid‐to‐high‐latitude climate through the transport of heat, moisture, and momentum; however, their long‐term behavior during spring and autumn seasons remains poorly understood. Using an 85‐year (1940–2024) cyclone climatology derived from ERA5 reanalysis, we identified substantial seasonal and basin ...

The host–guest complexation of a new fluorescent probe called 7‐(diethylamino)‐4‐hydroxyquinoline‐2(1H)‐one (QD) and its inclusion complex with the Cucurbit[7]uril (CB7) macrocycle were studied within a joint experimental and computational study. Confinement alters the photophysical properties of the synthesized quinolinone derivative also offering a ...

Bis‐Dichlorosilyl Functionalized C4‐Cumulene With Unique Bonding Scenario
Herein, we report a silylene‐functionalized C4‐cumulene (2) and investigate its bonding scenario employing computational methods such as NBO analysis, AIM, and energy decomposition analysis‐natural orbital for chemical valence (EDA‐NOCV). The EDA‐NOCV analysis showed that compound 2 prefers to possess electron‐sharing covalent sigma and dative covalent

ABSTRACT This work presents novel structure‐preserving formulations for stable model order reduction in the context of time‐domain room acoustics simulations. A solution to address the instability in conventional model order reduction formulations based on the Linearized Euler Equations is derived and validated through numerical experiments.

Model selection for network data based on spectral information
In this work, we explore the extent to which the spectrum of the graph Laplacian can characterize the probability distribution of random graphs for the purpose of model evaluation and model selection for network data applications.

The Laplacian spectrum of graphs
In this thesis we investigate the spectrum of the Laplacian matrix of a graph. Although its use dates back to Kirchhoff, most of the major results are much more recent. It is seen to reflect in a very natural way the structure of the graph, particularly those aspects related to connectedness.
