open access: yesThe International Journal of Psychoanalysis, 2013
The author proposes an introduction to the work of Jean Laplanche, a well-known figure of psychoanalysis who recently passed away. Clinical reporting following the quantification of cerebrospinal fluid biomarkers in Alzheimer's disease: An international overview. [PDF]

Beneath the Antarctic sea‐ice: Fine‐scale analysis of Weddell seal (Leptonychotes weddellii) behavior and predator–prey interactions, using micro‐sonar data in Terre Adélie

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, Volume 13, Issue 12, December 2023., 2023
We describe fine‐scale lactating Weddell seals' foraging ecology, providing high‐resolution diving behavior and associated prey encounters using new sonar tags. Females displayed a mix of capital and income‐breeding strategies. Feeding activity was mostly benthic (contrary to non‐lactation period), reduced, and spatially limited.

Abstract In Part 1 of ‘Encountering Berlant’, we encounter the promise and provocation of Lauren Berlant's work. In 1000‐word contributions, geographers and others stay with what Berlant's thought offers contemporary human geography. They amplify an encounter with their work, demonstrating how a concept, idea, or style disrupts something, opens up a ...

open access: yesEuropean Management Review, Volume 18, Issue 1, Page 25-35, Spring 2021., 2021
We examine xenophobia from the perspective of the unconscious of individuals, groups and nations, emphasizing the role of fantasy, and arguing that some leaders use xenophobic discourse to exploit fantasies arising from emotions such as anxiety, fear and anger. We discuss this in the context of the public sphere as conceptualized by Habermas.
