The genetic diversity of SSR markers was studied in six populations of Siberian larch, two populations of Gmelin larch, and four populations of Cajander larch. Seven pairs of nuclear microsatellite loci were used for this analysis. 103 allelic variants were detected in 365 individuals of three species of larch.

Larch Casebearer Control on Western Larch, 1976
Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1977Abstract The test was done on epidemic larch casebearer populations in young western larch stands near LaGrande, Oregon. Orthene was applied to needle mining larvae on Sept 9, 12, and 13 by a helicoptermounted conventional boom and nozzle system with 43 tee-Jet nozzles and no. 8002 flat fan spray tips.

Larch advantage is that it resists well to wind. Researchers had worked for several years to produce efficient Larch varieties, adapted to plain but which are now less available. This illustrated document was written by the best French, Belgian, German and Italian on ground workers. It is divided into four parts: plant material - Larch and environment -

Karyological study of larch population members from different parts of the Larix olgensis L. Henry areal in the Primorskii krai has been carried out. The main amount of chromosomes for larch as n = 12 (2n = 24) has been confirmed. Mixoploidy was observed in all studied populations.

Mathematical considerations on the larch-larch-bud-moth hypothesis
Mathematical Medicine and Biology, 1985The larch-larch-bud-moth hypothesis claims that the main reason for the oscillation in the abundance of the larch bud moth is a physiological change of the larch needles, as a reaction of the larch to defoliation by larval feeding. We analyse a discrete \(2\times 2\) recursion where one variable is the size of the bud-moth population in the egg stage ...

Larch arabinogalactan is a polysaccharide powder derived from the wood of the larch tree (Larix species) and comprised of approximately 98 percent arabinogalactan. Arabinogalactans are found in a variety of plants but are more abundant in the Larix genus, primarily Larix occidentalis (Western Larch).
