Solving Irregular Strip Packing Problems With Free Rotations Using Separation Lines

open access: yes, 2017
Solving nesting problems or irregular strip packing problems is to position polygons in a fixed width and unlimited length strip, obeying polygon integrity containment constraints and non-overlapping constraints, in order to minimize the used length of ...

Complex Cryptographic and User‐Centric Physically Unclonable Functions Enabled by Strain‐Sensitive Nanocrystals via Selective Ligand Exchange

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates electromechanical PUFs that improve on traditional electric PUFs. The electron transport materials are coated randomly through selective ligand exchange. It produces multiple keys and a key with motion dependent on percolation and strain, and approaches almost ideal inter‐ and intra‐hamming distances.

Three‐dimensional Antimony Sulfide Based Flat Optics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents the development of a grayscale electron beam lithography (g‐EBL) method for fabricating antimony trisulfide (Sb2S3) nanostructures with customizable 3D profiles. The refractive index of g‐EBL patterned Sb2S3 is determined based on the synergy of genetic algorithm and transfer matrix method.

SCHEDULING PROBLEMS OF STATIONARY OBJECTS WITH THE PROCESSOR IN ONE-DIMENSIONAL ZONE

open access: yesМоделирование и анализ информационных систем, 2015
We consider the mathematical model in which an operating processor serves the set of the stationary objects positioned in a one-dimensional working zone.

A two-level vertex-searching global algorithm framework for bilevel linear fractional programming problems

open access: yesSystems Science & Control Engineering, 2020
We propose a new two-level vertex-searching algorithm framework that finds a global optimal solution to the continuous bilevel linear fractional programming problem over a compact polyhedron, in which both the upper and the lower objectives are linear ...

Synergistic Compatibilization of CsPbBr3 Perovskites and HfO2 Nanocrystals for Hybrid Sensitized Nanoscintillators

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Lead halide perovskite nanocrystals are promising scintillators but suffer from reabsorption losses and limited compatibility with high‐Z additives. Hybridization of CsPbBr3 nanocrystals with PbBr2‐passivated HfO2 nanoparticle sensitizers, achieved during or after synthesis, produces stable composites with maintained optical quality, improved ...
