A new type seismic intensity meter
A new type of seismic intensity meter based on MEMS accelerometer is introduced. It employs STM32F107 as the data processing core and detects the changes of acceleration with triaxial MEMS LIS344ALH and uses ADS1248 for 24 bit data sampling.

Dynamic response at the terminus of oblique intersecting joints subjected to stress waves
This study derives the propagation equation for stress waves impinging upon nonlinear oblique intersecting joints. It analyzes the dynamic response at the terminus of nonlinear oblique intersecting joints subjected to stress waves. Abstract To investigate the dynamic response at the terminus of oblique intersecting joints subjected to stress waves, a ...

This study establishes a multi‐factor coupling framework for predicting breakdown pressure in laminated shale by integrating experimental hydraulic fracturing tests, physics‐informed neural networks (PINNs), and Sobol sensitivity analysis. It reveals how differential stress, the bedding dip angle, and the injection rate interact to influence fracture ...

This paper conducts a numerical simulation study on the construction of a deep‐buried tunnel in an anisotropic stratum area. A statistical analysis of the effects of two anti‐faulting design measures, namely, a conventional design and an articulated design, is carried out, and the results demonstrate the effectiveness of the anti‐faulting structures ...

ABSTRACT Objective Maladaptive exercise includes excessive, compulsive, or compensatory exercise and is a common eating‐disorder (ED) symptom associated with increased severity, slower rates‐of‐recovery, and faster rates‐of‐relapse. Affect‐regulation theories posit that maladaptive exercise functions to reduce high negative affect (NA), although ...

Similar locomotor patterns across Quarter Horse disciplines inform lameness assessment
Abstract Background Lineage‐based selection is central to the Quarter Horse industry and is often justified by the assumption that morphology determines locomotor function. However, objective evidence linking static conformation to discipline‐specific locomotor behaviour under standardised conditions remains limited.
