Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.

A numerical model for large deformation
Proceedings of 13th International Conference on Pattern Recognition, 1996Motion study in computer vision highly depends on the type of imagery and on the kind of the studied objects. A popular approach of non-rigid motion supposes that the objects are continuously and locally deformed. Local features, such as curvature extrema, are then often used.

Deformable templates using large deformation kinematics
IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, 1996A general automatic approach is presented for accommodating local shape variation when mapping a two-dimensional (2-D) or three-dimensional (3-D) template image into alignment with a topologically similar target image. Local shape variability is accommodated by applying a vector-field transformation to the underlying material coordinate system of the ...

Large deformation of elastic tubes
Journal of Biomechanics, 1970Abstract In this paper a study is made of the large deformation of elastic tubes. Analysis is confined to the case of statical deformation. The energy of deformation is considered to be a function of the three strain invariants only. In order to determine its form for actual materials it is expanded in its Taylor's series.

Small Deformations Superposed on Large Deformations in Materials with Fading Memory
Archive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis, 1961The non-linear stress-deformation relation for materials with memory has been discussed by Green & Rivlin [1] and Green,Rivlin & Spencer [2]. In the present paper we derive the restricted form applicable to small dynamic deformations superposed on large static deformations.
