Large eccentric laser angioplasty catheter
SPIE Proceedings, 1997In response to recent demand for increased debulking of large diameter coronary vascular segments, a large eccentric catheter for excimer laser coronary angioplasty has been developed. The outer tip diameter is 2.0 mm and incorporates approximately 300 fibers of 50 micron diameter in a monorail- type percutaneous catheter.

Large deflections of eccentrically loaded arches

Large deflection analysis of eccentrically stiffened sector plates
Computers & Structures, 1998Summary: A new theory for the non-axisymmetric elastic large deflection analysis of sector plates stiffened by a single eccentric rectangular cross-section radial stiffener is presented. In the theoretical model the reaction of the stiffener on the plate is modelled partly by means of body forces in the plate equilibrium equations and by local ...

Coorbital Dynamics at Large Eccentricity and Inclination
Physical Review Letters, 1999We show that coorbital dynamics at large eccentricity and inclination exhibit hitherto unknown types of stable motion in the gravitational three-body problem. In the solar system, the secular stability is observed in the evolution of specific near-Earth asteroids.
