Multidirectional Motion Strategy of Miniature Water Surface Robot Actuated by Single Exciter
A novel multidirectional motion strategy on the water surface based on a single exciter is proposed, and a single‐exciter single‐plate module is developed for actuation. The driving forces generation mechanism of the module is revealed from the perspective of the asymmetric surface wave field.

Eccentricity Evolution of Warm Jupiters: The Role of Distant Perturbers and nearby Companions
Warm Jupiters (WJs)—giant exoplanets with orbital periods between 10 and 200 days—exhibit a broad range of eccentricities and are often accompanied by nearby low-mass planets.

Most extrasolar planets are observed to have eccentricities much larger than those in the solar system. Some of these planets have sibling planets, with comparable masses, orbiting around the same host stars.

Chaotic zone boundary for low free eccentricity particles near an eccentric planet
We consider particles with low free or proper eccentricity that are orbiting near planets on eccentric orbits. Via collisionless particle integration we numerically find the location of the boundary of the chaotic zone in the planet's corotation region ...

CoRoT-7 b: Super-Earth or Super-Io? [PDF]
CoRoT-7 b, a planet about 70% larger than the Earth orbiting a Sun-like star, is the first-discovered rocky exoplanet, and hence has been dubbed a "super-Earth".

A large accretion disc of extreme eccentricity in the TDE ASASSN-14li [PDF]
In the canonical model for tidal disruption events (TDEs), the stellar debris circularizes quickly to form an accretion disk of size about twice the orbital pericenter of the star. Most TDEs and candidates discovered in the optical/UV have broad optical emission lines with complex and diverse profiles of puzzling origin. Liu et al. recently developed a
