We aimed at determination of acaricidal, larvacidal, and repellent activities of green synthesized silver nanoparticles (SNP) against Hyalomma dromedarii as one of the most common ticks in camels. SNP were green synthesized by reducing Lupinus albus extract through the precipitation technique.

Larvicidal activity of Melaleuca leucadendra leaves extract against Aedes aegypti [PDF]
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) depends on controlling Aedes aegypti mosquitoes and larvae. Currently, larvicide control still uses temefos larvicide, though several studies have reported resistance. Insecticides from plants can be used as an alternative.

Larvacide Activity of Bungur Plants (Lagerstroemia loudonii T. & B.)
The prevalence of DHF, especially in Indonesia, is still high. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease transmitted by the Aedes aegypti species mosquito vector. Therefore, reducing the incidence of DHF requires efforts to break the chain of transmission by inhibiting the growth of the Aedes aegypti mosquito vector.

Optimal Control and Temperature Variations of Malaria Transmission Dynamics
Malaria is a Plasmodium parasitic disease transmitted by infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. Climatic factors, such as temperature, humidity, rainfall, and wind, have significant effects on the incidence of most vector‐borne diseases, including malaria.

Development of a cyanobacterial biolarvicide
Results of studies on a larvicidal cyanobacterium that expresses a Bti cryIVD gene fusion are reported. Genetically altered Agmenellum quadruplicatum PR-6 is shown to be toxic to larvae of three major genera of disease-bearing mosquitos.

EFFECT OF NONI LEAF (Morinda Citrifolia Lignosae) EXTRACT LARVACIDE TO THE MORTALITY OF Aedes sp. INSTAR III-IV LARVAE [PDF]
The eradication of DHF is through the control of Aedes sp. Vector using larvacide. However, the use of synthetic larvacide causes new problems, such as an environmental pollution and toxicity to human beings therefore safe botanical larvacide should be ...
