The Lancet, 1973Abstract One hundred male patients with squamous carcinoma of the larynx and one hundred matched controls with various non-malignant diseases were questioned about their exposure to asbestos. Thirty-one patients and three controls had experienced an important degree of exposure to asbestos.

Laryngeal tuberculosis following laryngeal carcinoma
The Journal of Laryngology & Otology, 2005Laryngeal tuberculosis is a rare entity and the disease related to laryngeal cancer is extremely rare. We describe a case of laryngeal tuberculosis in a 74-year-old man with a history of radiotherapy for laryngeal carcinoma four months earlier. Laryngoscopy demonstrated a white mass on the right vocal fold at the site carcinoma had previously occupied.

Laryngeal carcinoma in females
European Journal of Surgical Oncology (EJSO), 1996Between 1950 and 1992, 96 women with squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx were diagnosed and treated in the Department of Otolaryngology and Oncology at Beilinson Medical Center, Israel, and Long Island College Hospital, Brooklyn, New York. Fifty-seven female patients (59%) had glottic carcinoma, 72% of them in stage I.

Angiography in Laryngeal Carcinoma

Circulating Immunocomplexes and Laryngeal Carcinoma
Archives of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, 1985Serum levels of circulating immunocomplexes (CIC) were studied in a group of 37 patients with laryngeal carcinoma using two polyethylene glycol-precipitation methods. The preoperative values of this group showed higher levels of CIC when compared with 140 normal controls. No correlation was noted between tumoral stage, oncotype, and serum levels of CIC.
