Platelets: Novel Biomaterials for Cancer Diagnosis and Therapeutic Delivery
Platelets, particularly tumor‐educated platelets (TEPs), play a crucial role in cancer diagnosis and treatment. TEPs undergo molecular changes in RNA and protein profiles, making them valuable biomarkers for diagnosis, prognosis, and monitoring. In nanomedicine, platelets serve as drug carriers in tumor‐targeted nanomaterials, enhancing specificity and

Abstract Background Previous knowledge‐based planning studies have demonstrated the feasibility of predicting three‐dimensional photon dose distributions and subsequently generating treatment plans. The steepness of dose fall‐off represents a critical metric for clinical plan evaluation; however, dose fall‐off similarity is frequently overlooked in ...

An anatomical investigation of alkaptonuria: Novel insights into ochronosis of cartilage and bone
Examination of an alkaptonuria body highlights the susceptibility of all cartilage types and associated perichondrium to ochronotic pigmentation and the heterogeneity of ochronotic pigment distribution both within and between tissues. In joints, calcified cartilage pigments before non‐calcified cartilage.

Validation of the Dynamic Imaging Grade of Swallowing Toxicity for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
This study sought to psychometrically validate the Dynamic Imaging Grade of Swallowing Toxicity (DIGEST) scale in persons with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (pALS). Data confirm that the DIGEST scale is a reliable and valid VF outcome tool for use in clinical practice and as a clinical trial endpoint marker in pALS.
