In this review, we included a total of 31 manuscripts representing 745 patients for analysis. The donor site complications reported include pneumothorax (n = 13, 1.74%), pleural tear (n = 5, 0.67%), infection (n = 8, 1.07%), and scar‐related problems (n = 2, 0.26%).
