Lasalocid-Sulfur Amino Acid Interrelationship in the Chick

open access: yesPoultry Science, 1980
Several experiments were conducted with young healthy chicks to investigate the relationship between lasalocid and sulfur-containing amino acids (SAA). Chicks were housed in heated starter batteries in all experiments and were fed, in all but one trial, a completely purified crystalline amino acid diet.

Effects of Rumensin or Lasalocid on rumen fermentation in vitro [PDF]

open access: yes, 1979
A series of artificial-rumen studies tested effects of Rumensin and lasalocid on rumen fermentation. At concentrations of 22, 44, and 66 ppm both depressed microbial protein synthesis. Both severely inhibited protein synthesis at 176 ppm.

Effects of lasalocid on growth, nutrient digestibility and rumen characteristics in chios lambs and Damascus kids

open access: yes, 1988
Two feeding trials and one digestibility trial with early weaned Damascus kids (50 days of age) and one feeding trial with early weanes Chios female lambs (42 days of age) were carried out to investigate the effects of lasalocid sodium (37.5 mg kg−1 feed

Anticoccidial Activity of Lasalocid (X-537A) in Chicks

open access: yesPoultry Science, 1974
Abstract Lasalocid (X-537A, Ro 2-2985 sodium salt), at graded feed concentrations, was tested in controlled battery experiments against various strains of single and mixed Eimeria species infections. The experimental data indicated that lasalocid, at dosages of 0.01, 0.0075 and 0.005%, demonstrated a high degree of anticoccidial activity in terms of ...

Bepaling van lasalocid-natrium door middel van HPLC [PDF]

open access: yes, 1981
Lasalocid-natrium is volgens methode EEG doc. 1089/VI/81-E onderzocht in twee mengvoeders. De storende invloed van monensin, salinomycine en narasin werd eveneens bekeken. Lasalocid-natrium wordt als coccidiostaticum toegepast voor het gebruik van kippen
