Electrical Resistance Reduction Induced with CO2 Laser Single Line Scan of Polyimide
We conducted a laser parameter study on CO2 laser induced electrical conductivity on a polyimide film. The induced electrical conductivity was found to occur dominantly at the center of the scanning line instead of uniformly across the whole line width ...

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Multifunctionality and control of the crumpling and unfolding of large-area graphene [PDF]
Crumpled graphene films are widely used, for instance in electronics energy storage, composites and biomedicine. Although it is known that the degree of crumpling affects graphene’s properties and the performance of graphene-based devices and materials ...

Printing of Crumpled CVD Graphene via Blister-Based Laser-Induced Forward Transfer
The patterning and transfer of a two-dimensional graphene film without damaging its original structure is an urgent and difficult task. For this purpose, we propose the use of the blister-based laser-induced forward transfer (BB-LIFT), which has proven ...

Multiscale experiments and modeling reveal how Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets reinforce PVDF nanocomposites. An optimal MXene loading (∼1 wt.%) nearly doubles tensile strength through efficient stress transfer, flake alignment, and crack‐deflection mechanisms, transforming ductile polymer behavior into a controlled multi‐stage fracture pathway which aligns ...
