Guanosine‐Quadruplex Hydrogels as Dynamic, Mechanically Tunable and Ion Conductive 3D Scaffolds for Cell Culture Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Versatile guanosine‐quadruplex (GQ) hydrogels are developed as dynamic biomatrices for cell culture. These scaffolds are fabricated under mild aqueous conditions, present improved stability, tunable mechanical properties within physiological ranges; fibrillar, porous microstructure, ion conductivity, and cytocompatibility.

Managing Charge Transport and Exciton Generation for Highly Efficient, Bright, and Stable Near‐Infrared Organic Radical Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
High‐performing near‐infrared (NIR) organic light‐emitting diodes are demonstrated using an efficient and stable 800 nm‐emissive organic radical and a thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) host. TADF‐assisted exciton generation combined with improved charge transport enables high external quantum efficiency (>8%), high radiance (>70,000 mW sr−

The surface sites of sulfated zirconia studied in situ by laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy

open access: yes, 2005
The surface sites of sulfated zirconia were investigated in situ by laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy using aniline as the probe molecule. Different from the cases for many other oxides, the aniline adsorbed on the unique active sites of sulfated ...

Nanoamphizymes: Self‐Assembled Amphiphilic Enzymatic Nanomaterials for High‐Performance Biocatalysis and Biosensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An amphiphilic GOx nanoamphizyme was constructed by covalently introducing hydrophobic PPNI linkers onto GOx, enabling spontaneous self‐assembly into tunable nanoparticles. Mild crosslinking further stabilized the assemblies and enhanced catalytic performance and stability.

Microfluidic Nano‐Assembly of Red‐Blood‐Cell (RBC) Lipids and Components for Engineering Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Engineered red blood cell‐derived extracellular vesicles (eRBCEVs) are synthesized via controlled microfluidic assembly from native RBC lipids, enabling tunable encapsulation of proteins, nucleic acids, nanoparticles, and viral vectors. The platform demonstrates reproducible nanoscale architecture, preserved membrane composition, and functional cargo ...

Conjugated Porphyrin Polymer With Superior Charge Transfer for Photodynamic‐Immunomodulatory Prevention of CIED Infection in Diabetes

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Under NIR irradiation, PTCPP generates ROS to eliminate MRSA biofilms and promote M1 macrophage polarization for phagocytosis. After bacterial clearance, the material is phagocytosed by macrophages, shifting their polarization to M2 phenotype via metabolic reprogramming, which synergistically enhances anti‐infection therapy and wound healing.

Laser-Induced Fluorescence Detection of Hot Molecular Oxygen in Flames Using an Alexandrite Laser [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The use of an alexandrite laser for laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) spectroscopy and imaging of molecular oxygen in thermally excited vibrational states is demonstrated. The laser radiation after the third harmonic generation was used to excite the B-X (
