Graphene FET circuit-level device modelling

open access: yes, 2014
This thesis presents models for a graphene based field effect transistor (GFET). The graphene material has been widely studied since its synthesis in 2004 and the material holds promise for the next generation electronic applications. Therefore, there is

Laser-induced graphene gas sensors for environmental monitoring

open access: yesFrontiers in Chemistry
Artemesia tridentata is a foundational plant taxon in western North America and an important medicinal plant threatened by climate change. Low-cost fabrication of sensors is critical for developing large-area sensor networks for understanding and monitoring a range of environmental conditions.

Morphology‐Driven Electromechanical Performance of Graphene‐Based Electrofluids for Emerging Soft Electronic Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Here, two types of electronic components are presented: a strain sensor and a stable resistor. Electrofluids properties are tuned to match these behaviors by selecting the type of filler. We show that the morphology of the filler together with its oxygen content are the key parameters to create electrical and mechanical networks with distinct responses.

Shaping Carbon Nitrides for Advanced Macrostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This review examines how carbon nitride can be shaped through a range of printing and interfacial assembly methods. By bringing together additive manufacturing and liquid–liquid structuring concepts, carbon nitride is moving beyond its traditional powder‐based photocatalyst form toward digitally designed robust macroscale architectures with high design

Electroanalytical overview: the use of laser-induced graphene sensors [PDF]

open access: yes
Laser-induced graphene, which was first reported in 2014, involves the creation of graphene by using a laser to modify a polyimide surface. Since then, laser-induced graphene has been extensively studied for application in different scientific fields ...
