Simulation of plasma transport in the linear plasma device MPS-LD by SOLPS-ITER
Linear plasma devices are the ideal devices to simulate the divertor conditions of tokamak experimentally. The Multiple Plasma Simulation Linear Device (MPS-LD) is under construction at Dalian University of Technology with a focus of studying the plasma ...

Spatial Control of Photoemitted Electron Beams using a Micro-Lens-Array Transverse-Shaping Technique
A common issue encountered in photoemission electron sources used in electron accelerators is the transverse inhomogeneity of the laser distribution resulting from the laser-amplification process and often use of frequency up conversion in nonlinear ...

The correlation of edge plasma current, electric field and divertor condition in tokamak
The particle transport in divertor region of current size tokamak can be affected by electric field (E) significantly through the E × B drift. The plasma current, which is associated with drifts closely, affects E.

Microstructure and Wear Resistance of Laser-Clad (Co, Ni)61.2B26.2Si7.8Ta4.8 Coatings
It has been reported that a quaternary Co61.2B26.2Si7.8Ta4.8 alloy is a good glass former and can be laser-clad to an amorphous composite coating with superior hardness and wear resistance. In this paper, alloys with varying Ni contents to substitute for

Photon propagation in slowly varying electromagnetic fields
We study the effective theory of soft photons in slowly varying electromagnetic background fields at one-loop order in QED. This is of relevance for the study of all-optical signatures of quantum vacuum nonlinearity in realistic electromagnetic ...

Strain softened bending modulus of graphene oxide
Graphene oxide is attractive in flexible materials due to its biocompatibility. Herein, flexibility of graphene oxide under uniaxial tensile strain has been studied in term of the bending modulus. It is demonstrated that tensile strain plays an effective

This article investigates optimal processing conditions for the laser‐based powder bed fusion of WE43. To limit the interaction with remaining oxygen, a 3 vol% hydrogen admixture to the inert gas is investigated. Furthermore, heat treatments are investigated in the range of 250–350 °C for 48 h.
